Fabrice Moireau, born in 1962, graduated from the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts. From his numerous travels, he brings back sketchbooks that serve as cultural and ethnographic testimonies. Passionate about architecture, gardens, and plants in general, his ambition is to convey, through watercolors, the subtlety of the play of light and the atmosphere of a street or landscape.
Novelist, essayist, and translator, Lucien d’Azay was born in 1966. He is the author of about fifteen books that blend biography, leisurely exploration, and keepsake elements: portraits intertwine with intimate memories and literary reminiscences. In 2012, he received the Prix de la Revue des Deux Mondes for his essay “Trois excentriques anglais” (Les Belles Lettres, 2011). His most recent works include “Sur les chemins de Palmyre” (La Table Ronde, 2012), “Keats, keepsake” (Les Belles Lettres, 2014), “Dictionnaire insolite de Florence” (Cosmopole, 2015), and “Ashley et Gilda” (Les Belles Lettres, 2016).
