Normandy, a land of history

Normandy ranks as the world’s second most famous region, and for good reason. Throughout the ages, this land has been coveted by numerous invaders. From the Romans to the Vikings, and later from the English to the Germans, the region has witnessed numerous conflicts. Nevertheless, it has managed to preserve a natural and architectural heritage of immense richness.

Natural landscapes through an artist’s eye

Whether it’s lush forests, the white chalk cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, or the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay, Normandy continues to fascinate people from all walks of life. Enchanted by its unique characteristics, Fabrice Moireau has skillfully captured the essence of its natural landscapes in breathtaking watercolor paintings. This work brings together 150 original drawings and watercolors representing the five departments that make up Normandy.
