Alberto Manguel.

Born in Argentina, Alberto Manguel was, in his youth, the secretary of Jorge Luis Borges. As a writer in both Spanish and English, his essays and novels have been frequently recognized with awards, including the Médicis Prize for “A History of Reading” (Actes Sud, 1998) and the France Culture Prize for “In the Forest of the Mirror” (Actes Sud, 2000). Residing in France since the 2000s, he was appointed an Officer of Arts and Letters in 2004, one of the highest cultural distinctions in France.

Ara Güler.

Ara Güler was born in 1928. In 1958, he became a photojournalist for Time Life, Paris Match, and Der Stern. After his meeting with Henri Cartier-Bresson in 1961, he joined the Magnum agency. In the same year, the English magazine Photography Annual named him one of the world’s seven best photographers. In 1962, he received the prestigious title of ‘Master of Leica,’ and in 1979, the first prize for reporting from the Turkish Journalists Association. In 1999, he was awarded the title of ‘Photographer of the Century’ in Turkey. Ara Güler is also known for having photographed numerous personalities such as Churchill, Chagall, Dalí, Picasso, Hitchcock…

Benoît Heimermann.

Benoît Heimermann equally appreciates cluttered libraries and empty spaces, adventure tales, and long journeys. As a senior reporter at L’Équipe Magazine, author of about fifteen books, and contributor to half a dozen television documentaries, he was awarded the Mumm Foundation Prize for a series of reports dedicated to Muhammad Ali and currently presides over the Sports Writers Association.
