Alain Laurens has built nearly five hundred treehouses in around ten countries. His company, La Cabane perchée, adheres to an unyielding rule: never drive a nail into a tree or cut a branch.

Daniel Dufour.

Former Artistic Director of Vogue magazine, Daniel Dufour (1940-2017) was a painter and illustrator. He published several works, notably with Gallimard and La Martinière.

Sylvain Teson.

Born in 1972, Sylvain Tesson is a travel writer and author, known for works such as ‘Une vie à coucher dehors’ (Goncourt Prize for Short Stories), ‘Dans les forêts de Sibérie’ (Médicis Prize for Essay), and ‘Berezina’ (Hussards Prize, Page 112 Prize). A great lover of ascension and nature, he has joyfully and skillfully embraced the theme of treehouses.
