Benoît Heimermann is a passionate reporter and writer who finds as much pleasure in libraries as in the great outdoors, whether writing about adventures or long journeys. He has worked for Le Matin de Paris (1977-1985), Sport (1986-1987), Challenges (1988) and L’Équipe Magazine (1989-2014), while also working as an editor at Flammarion (1992-1998) and Grasset (1999-2012), and has been collaborating with Éditions Stock since 2013. Author of some fifteen books and half a dozen television documentaries, he received the Mumm Foundation Award for a series of reports on Muhammad Ali. He also chairs the Association « Sports Writers Association ».

 

Benoît Heimermann is the author of Face of the Twentieth Century and Empreintes, published by Éditions du Pacifique.
