Watercolor artist

Daniel Dufour (1940-2017), former artistic director of Vogue France magazine, was a painter, illustrator, and cabin designer. After twelve years in the press, followed by a long career in advertising as an artistic director and creative director, he co-founded La Cabane Perchée in 2000, where he designs and illustrates projects. To date, more than 500 treehouses have been built in France and internationally.

At the same time, Daniel Dufour continues his personal creations: he produces numerous travel journals, illustrates and edits books for publishers such as Gallimard, La Martinière and Coiffard, and has been participating in an annual exhibition in Noirmoutier with the ACPIN Association for twenty years.

He is the illustrator of Treehouses published by Éditions du Pacifique.
