Gabriel Bernasconi, who holds a doctorate in history and a degree in political communication, has been contributing to French Olympic life for over twenty years, both on a sporting and institutional level. As head of information and then head of culture at the CNOSF (French National Olympic and Sports Committee), he supported the Annecy 2018 and Paris 2024 bids, oversaw digital coverage of the French Olympic team from London 2012 to PyeongChang 2018, and preserved the photographs of the 1924 Paris Games, which inspired the Empreintes exhibition.
He is the author of Empreintes 1924-2024: 100 ans d’héritage olympique, published by Éditions du Pacifique.
