Born in England in 1980, Olivia Arthur began her photography career after moving to Delhi in 2003. The main theme she explores in her projects is how people perceive themselves and connect with one another.
She is also committed to highlighting individuals whose place in the world is uncertain, uncovering the hidden aspects of their daily lives and portraying life at the crossroads of multiple cultures.
She enjoys exploring different mediums : film, books, children’s books with collage, she also often works with a film camera, which lends a unique sensitivity to her work.
She is the author of Bhutan: Portrait of a Kingdom, published by Éditions du Pacifique.
